Vikings of Thule is a fantasy role playing game that can be played on Facebook. The game takes place in Iceland during a time of viking rule. Each player plays a human viking and can compete in player versus player arena combat.

Combat is resolved in turns and plays on a grid, but the turns are played out simultaneously for both players. This means that players have to guess to which space another player will walk. Each turn players can perform three actions. Different actions (various attacks and movement patterns) take different amounts of mana points. Each attack targets certain squares in a pattern around the player's avatar. The first player to reduce the other's avatar to zero or fewer hitpoints wins the match.

Matches earn player players Respect Points. Which is similar to Experience in most RPGs. The player can also buy better equipment, such as armor, weapons and special items. Players also own a plot of land which earns them a daily income of resources. [source:mobygames]
