Wall $treet Trader 98 This game is a simulation of the stock market where the player takes the role of a recently graduated business student who gets venture capital from millionaire Lord Fleming. The gameplay consists basically of buying and selling of 70 stocks in 16 currencies. Simple, isn't it? Not quite, like in reality the main quality of a successful speculator is the quick reaction to trend reports and a bit of luck.

The latest news are also an important source of information. So the player often has to ask himself questions like how a new Gulf War would influence the quotation of the dollar or oil. Unusually for managerial simulations the game actually tells a story and is divided into five missions where the first is basically a tutorial and later ones offer advanced possibilities like company analyses and insider information. The game uses real names for stock markets and companies. [source:mobygames]
