Hangman Extreme is a violent flash game update of the classic pencil and paper game of old. The gameplay is very simplistic, the player must guess the word by typing in a letter before the timer runs out. If a player gets a letter right, it will appear below the stickman, but if they get it incorrect, time will be deducted. Players can also track what they have all ready used on the top right of the screen.

There are 11 different boards all together, each with a paper background look and an animated stickman, each with their own unique "death", some simplistic like standing in the middle of a freeway or holding a giant bomb and others more complex such as being on a rack tied to a one-ton weight or being hung while standing on a melting block of ice. There are no different modes or even a score keeping system. Each level will have a different word, being switched each time it is played to keep the players guessing. [source:mobygames]
