Wii Sports Resort is a sports game for the Wii video game console. It is a sequel to Wii Sports and is set for a worldwide release in 2009. It is set to be released in Japan in April, and in North America about two or three months later. The game is part of an ongoing series of games sometimes referred to as the Wii Series. Wii Sports Resort will be the first title to be compatible with Wii MotionPlus. The game will come bundled with the MotionPlus device and an extended Wii Remote Jacket, both of which will also be sold separately. From what has been seen so far, the game is set in a beach resort. The island the game is set on is the same island in Wii Fit, when the player goes for runs. [source:wikipedia]
