Effacer is a futuristic take on the classic paper and pencil game of hangman. The set-up has the player compete in a series of grammar games against aliens that have "committed crimes against grammar" by competing in games to learn proper nouns, adjectives and the like in the style of hangman. If the player chooses the right letters, the enemy alien will be zapped, but if the player picks the wrong one their character will start to be hanged. If they player chooses too many wrong letters, their character will be hanged and the game will be over. [source:mobygames]
