I Spy Spooky Mansion Deluxe I Spy Spooky Mansion Deluxe is an upgraded version of I Spy Spooky Mansion which was released by Scholastic in 1999. This newer edition is billed as having 50% more puzzles, three different ways out of the house, a secret room to discover, seven ghosts to create, and more. The I Spy games are based on the series of children's riddle and puzzle-solving books by Walter Wick and Jean Marzollo.

Gameplay is fully point-and-click. At the bottom right of your screen there is an arrow you can use to back out of a game or a room. On the top right you have a question-mark; when you click on it you will hear instructions to help you proceed.

There are six different rooms with picture riddles hidden in them - as you solve each one, you receive a piece of a jigsaw puzzle that you must put together in order to leave. The riddles are little rhymes that are read aloud when clicked on, and the puzzles are designed to exercise some basic mental skills for 6 to 10 year-olds: problem solving, vocabulary, visual memory, logic and reading.
