Nile: An Ancient Egyptian Quest ?Nile: An Ancient Egyptian Quest? is a historical edutainment adventure. On your journey in Egypt you will explore the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara and the temples of Deir el-Bahri in Western Thebes as they looked thousands of years ago.

Your mission is to restore the "ka" or life force of three Pharaohs, one from the Old Kingdom, one from the Middle Kingdom and one from the New Kingdom. In each period you will explore the sites, discover objects, find stories and accomplish related tasks, such as building a pyramid. Four of the elements that are collected serve as offerings to restore the ka of the Pharaoh. When you succeed, you will enter the Sun God?s celestial boat and ride with him forever to eternity.

The game features a 360-degree view of the surroundings. The works of art in the Metropolitan Museum?s world-renowned Egyptian collection may be seen in a special museum program on the second CD-ROM of the game. [source:mobygames]
