Traditional Mahjong takes a twist in this game. Although you can play the normal Shanghai style of mahjong where you match tiles in either single or 2-player mode, there is also an emperor's challenge.

The emperor's challenge mode can only be won by completing all 72 layouts in the time limit. When you complete a layout in the emperor's challenge, you also gain chinese wisdom quotes.

The 72 layouts are grouped into six categories: Horoscope, Crafts, Nature, Scenery, Martial Arts, and Emperors. The game has three tilesets and three difficulty levels to choose from and includes a layout editor to make your own games.

When you have played for awhile and have a good record, you are able to submit your record to Hexacto's website to compare with other players.
