Alter Ego Set in town of Plymouth, South England, in 1894, the events of this adventure game introduce two main playable characters. One of them is Timothy Moor, a young ordinary thief who came to town as a black passenger on a ship and was brought into the town in handcuffs. Another is Detective Bristol, an English gentleman, the personification of law and hard-edged justice.

Timothy's only dream is to reach America, where he wants to start a new life, while Detective Bristol wants to build a successful career. Both of them are unfamiliar with each other and they will meet at some point to solve the mysterious case about multiple murders.

The local noble, William Lewis, known as "White Beast", was buried, but his corpse disappears. He was probably a maniac who killed people, but he was never accused, and community became scared. Detective Bristol investigates this case, while Timothy Moor wants to leave the town performing some steal jobs. The number of dead people is increased with investigation, and everything becomes rather mysterious than clear...

The gameplay is similar to the Black Mirror series. Player controls the character in 3rd person perspective view, selects with mouse the active spots to look at or interact with, talks to the characters, and moves between locations.

There are 9 chapters in the game. Player controls Timothy Moor in most of them, while several chapters are dedicated to Detective Bristol. Characters speak and sound their thoughts, which are sometimes very opposite to the speech. [source:mobygames]
