Arcane: Online Mystery Serial - The Miller Estate Episode 2 In Episode 2 of The Miller Estate, players take control of Ophelia as she do her investigation inside the Miller Estate. While Prescott explodes outside the estate and Dr.MacDermoth inside the study, Ophelia, with her parapsychic power, has a strange feeling of someone waiting for her. As night comes, she can sense a dark atmosphere is surrounding the estate. She decides that she has to do something about it as she has "no other choice".

There are hardly any changes in the gameplay since the previous game. Players interact with objects and solve puzzles in order to process. Unlike the previous game, when players points at an suspicious location, a large Ophelia's head will appear (instead of the sound of the equipment). To use a collected item with an object, players have to drag the item into the object. Using items with wrong objects will be classified as mistakes and make time run out. Sometimes, Ophelia senses strange images when she meets certain interesting objects, which largely affects the story. There is a time limit depending on the number of time players click on objects. If players make too many mistakes, Ophelia will die.

The graphics are in 2D. The game offers players a loading/saving function. Like its predecessor, at the beginning of the game, Ophelia's diary appears with a puzzle which players have to solve in order to open the diary. [source:mobygames]
