Shami Risni no B?ken is a remake of the first Branmarker for DOS. The player takes the role of Shami, a young female warrior, who has to defeat evil that threatens the peaceful island of Radja, wandering around the world map and fighting random enemies in turn-based combat.
The remake has high resolution graphics with most of the anime-style cut scenes completely re-drawn (although the overworld top-down graphics still have the retro "super-deformed" look), higher quality music, voice overs for some of the cut scenes, and the possibility to view the game's CG pictures from the gallery menu.
