Game Classification

In this typically lush Orisinal minigame, the player controls a little girl trapped on a circular playfield with an endless swarm of ladybugs of varying colours. Being touched by the ladybugs reduces her hit points from the starting level of three; she can avoid them by slavishly following the mouse pointer but following the expression "the best defense is a good offense", can instead mount an assault against the bugs and earn points along the way!

This is done through blowing a bubble (by clicking and holding the mouse button) beneath her, which propels her up when the button is released and causes her to land with a certain impact area relative to the size of the bubble at launch. All bugs caught within the impact area are removed from the play area, though they will soon be replaced. Bonus points are awarded for removing larger groups of bugs simultaneously, and high-scoring plays may also be rewarded with the appearance of a bauble allowing the player to blow one green bug-resistant bubble (bubbles-in-progress deflating without launch if they're touched by a bug while growing in size).

There is no end to the game, which is played to reach and beat previous player high scores. [source:mobygames]
