In the year 3000, an evil mastermind has released a plague of alien insects upon our galaxy. If Dex Hamilton, world-famous alien entomologist, can discover the clues left behind by this villainous insect-man, he can restore the galaxy?s natural balance and save the universe from imminent disaster.

Dex Hamilton's Bug Quest, based on the youth animated series Dex Hamilton: Alien Entomologist, allows users to take the role of Dex as he travels the universe as an alien entomologist, conservationist and interplanetary adventurer. In Bug Quest, the user can explore three planets, each with their own challenges, hidden items and fact-finding missions. Players navigate through multiple locations, clicking exploratory discovery zones and unlocking mini-games, in an attempt to rescue Dex's stranded teammates and restore the ecosystems of their respective planets.

As players progress through the game, they collect items, information and achievements in their Junior Entomologist's Field Guide, which they can revisit online if they've created an account. [source:mobygames]
