Game Classification

While traveling by plane, Jessica starts to chat with a young man called Tony. When both arrive at the airport, Tony sees something and runs, leaving behind a piece of a treasure map. Jessica retrieves it and decides to investigate to find out what made him so frightened.

Jessica: Mysterious Journey is a standard hidden object game, where players have to find and click on all the items from a list at the left side of the screen, on locations filled with scattered objects. The game can be played with a timer, or without by selecting the relaxed mode at the beginning. The list shows either words or the object silhouette. Another standard variation that makes an appearance is the split screen game, where the player must find the differences between two similar images.

Mini-games appear occasionally, and most are implementations of classic games like jigsaw puzzles, mazes, mastermind and other challenges. The hint button at the bottom of the list shows the exact position of one of the required objects, but takes some time to recharge after use. [source:mobygames]
