Kerwhizz is based of the children's TV show of the same name. It follows the main idea of the show - three teams complete quiz questions to win 'mods' for their racing pods.

After choosing a team, the player is presented with the quiz section of the game. Many varieties of questions come up, many involving matching pictures (of different forms), finding where King Pong has hid, musical questions and more, all of which have four possibilities to choose from. Correctly selecting the answer gains the player points.

When it comes to the racing the player has six worlds to choose from (with all but one needing to be unlocked by playing the quiz again). Unlike many racing games, the player can not control the speed of the vehicle, but has to choose either a fast or slow speed before the race, and can fully control the steering and use the power up earned by using the points from the quiz round.

The game saves player progress so score and unlocked planets can still be accessed afterwards. [source:mobygames]
