Mad Monday is a top-down racing game where the player needs to escape the police and drive through different cities such as Florida and California to make it to Mexico. Using a top-down perspective, the screen scrolls horizontally at a constant rate and the player can manoeuvre the vehicle over the road.

The car can run over pedestrians, push other cars of the road or shoot everything in sight. The basic gun can be upgraded with a roof-modelled gun and a flamethrower. Other cars will shoot the play or throw objects on the road. There are also bridges, roadblocks, junctions and construction sites. From the air, jets drop bombs and helicopters will float in front of the car. Health can be replenished every now and then by grabbing a power-up from another car. The game keeps track of the player's score and there is an online leaderboard. [source:mobygames]
