Mole Control Mole Control is a puzzle game similar to Minesweeper, where the player controls a special hovercraft equipped with extraction tools developed to clean the underground of explosive moles. The objective is to move the vehicle slowly over the terrain as if it was divided in a grid, gradually changing it to lighter tones as a reminder of the areas already explored and safe. When passing over portions connected to one of the mole holes, they become automatically marked with numbers showing the amount of explosive rodents connected around them horizontally, vertically or diagonally in the surrounding directions.

The player can guess the location of one of the mounds with these numbers, move the hovercraft to the edge of it and use the burrowing extensions to dig in and forcibly remove the mole. The hovercraft can be damaged by accidentally detonating one of the hidden moles, or by digging on wrong spots, and has to be repaired with one of the toolboxes from a limited supply. Extra toolboxes can be found and collected around the level. Stretches of terrain paved with stones are free of moles, and can be used as a starting point when exploring a new portion of the available land. The hovercraft can also fly directly to places already explored, or between stone-covered areas.

In the main story mode, each level has a number of moles that have to be captured, and a few toolboxes acting as extra lives. In time attack mode, there's a time limit to clean the terrain, with each mole extracted adding a few more seconds to the clock. The moles are randomly scattered at the start of each level, to make the game more challenging and replayable. The language can be set to English, French, Spanish, German or Italian.
