There are seven playable countries during the period of 1804 to 1815 where the game takes place. As the focus here is the Napoleon expansion, lots of scripted events concerning that time have been added, and there is the possibility to the gamer, when facing a problem, to choose not only the historical path, but also some plausible options that unfold in different consequences.
