Silverfall: Earth Awakening is an stand alone add-on to Silverfall. Several years have passed since the end of Silverfall. After you had saved the land and the city, the inhabitants made you the the king of Nelwïë and under your rule the country flourished and lived in peace. But there's of course an evil power lurking in the shadows that doesn't want you to live the rest of your live in peace and the balance of the world is once again threatened when meteors rain from the sky and the bodies of water turn into holes full of ooze. So once again it is up to you to save the world.

Although you don't need the main game to play the add-on, it is still recommended since the game puts you right into the middle of the action without explaining what has transpired before. And the add-on also requires an existing character of level 45 which can be either imported from the main game or generated at the beginning. One reason to do so could be to try out the two new races Dwarf and Saurian. While the Dwarven are very resistant against spells and injuries, the Saurians are very agile and excel at archery.

While the core hack 'n' slay-gameplay remains the same, your hero is now controlled with the keyboard and the interface now supports drag & drop. This gives you the freedom to customize it much like World of Warcraft or any other modern MMORPG.

The add-on also adds the mandatory new items to the game as well as 150 new spells and combat techniques and 30 new skills. [source:mobygames]
