Soviet Unterzögersdorf: Sector 1 This point-and-click adventure game takes you to Soviet Unterzögersdorf, the last appanage republic of the USSR that has lasted until these days, isolated from the rest of the world. It is without any diplomatic relations and in an economic crisis since the downfall of the Soviet Union. External forces are threatening the survival of this small outpost, but some citizens of Soviet Unterzögersdorf are going to struggle hard for a better future (and you are one of those citizens in this game).

Sector 1 is the first part of a trilogy and the game regularly takes humourous jabs at communism and politics in general. Graphics-wise, it boasts digitalized actors and backgrounds (similar to Gabriel Knight 2) and Russian voices with both German and English subtitles. There are icons and an inventory in the upper part of the screen, to interact with objects, characters and the environment. [source:mobygames]
