Stack of Bricks is a Breakout clone in the tradition of Arkanoid. The player controls a paddle at the bottom of the screen, which is filled with various colored blocks. A ball bounces about, destroying blocks that it collides with, and the player must hit it with the paddle to keep it from falling off the bottom of the screen. Sometimes powerups will drop from destroyed blocks, which may grant an ability to the player such as allowing the ball to be caught, or allow the paddle to fire lasers to destroy the blocks more easily. Some powerups will have other effects, such as adding a temporary barrier at the bottom of the screen, or splitting the ball into six separate balls. There are more than 60 stages, and one or two players can play simultaneously.

In addition to the main game mode, there is also a "bonus game" mode, which is a recreation of Pong, for one or two players. [source:mobygames]
