Treasure Mole: Winter Vacation This game is the Winter Edition for Treasure Mole.

You are controlling a mole, who digs in a mine for gold nuggets, avoids falling snowballs and fight monsters.

The game consists of three difficulty settings, where each setting uses a different map pack.

Before you start a level, you have the opportunity to study the map on a preview screen, including a magnifying glass for zooms.

Once you start a level, you have either to collect a certain amount of gold nuggets or to kill a certain amount of monsters. Just use the cursor keys to dig horizontal or vertical, and collecting the gold. But be aware of falling snow balls, when you dig the ground below the snow balls. However, since it isn't a rock, it won't kill you on impact, but you loose a bit of your life.

Once you actually lost a life, you have to restart the level. This also goes for situations, where you are trapped. As soon as you collected the last gold nugget you need or killed the last needed monster, you continue with the next level.

To fight the monsters or destroy blocking snow balls, you have a little weapon arsenal available, including a rocket launcher, grenades, mines, TNT, and acid. However, those weapons are only available in the first two difficulty settings. On hard, the only way to beat enemies is to kill them with fallen snow balls. [source:mobygames]
