Treasure Seekers: Follow the Ghosts In 1931 England, after the pink diamond known as the Ruby Heart was stolen from the Bristol Museum, a pair of ghost hunters siblings called Tom and Nelly are hired to investigate a haunted manor in the English countryside. Soon they discover a strange connection between the sudden supernatural sightings and the theft, and focus their efforts in finding out who was the criminal behind the heist.

Treasure Seekers: Follow the Ghosts is the third entry in a series of games combining hidden object hunts with point-and-click adventures. As before, instead of searching for assorted paraphernalia from a list, most of the time the objective is to click on certain hotspots to open a circle with gray images around it, and drag and drop all the picture items from the scenery to it, to perform an action or complete a task. The context-sensitive cursor shows an icon when hovering over interactive portions of the scenery, displaying a hand when over a potential inventory object, feet when near one of the exits, a pair of gears when over a place with one of the circles, a human face when touching one of the characters with some information and a magnifying glass when over a spot with a zoom view window showing another angle of the scene. The hint button highlights the position of one of the required items, or gives clues about the correct solution of a puzzle, but takes some time to recharge after use.

In some locations, clicking on certain places brings up a separate cluttered screen with a conventional seek-and-find game where the player as to find and click on all the objects listed at the bottom of the screen. Most puzzles can be solved with the inventory tools, that can be picked up from the slots at the bottom and employed on the appropriate situations. Some of the puzzles are self-contained mini-games, where the player has to manipulate a mechanism of some sort to solve various challenges, like setting all the revolving gears inside a clock, reassembling a shredded page of text and completing other similar tasks. They can be optionally skipped after a few minutes. [source:mobygames]
