PLAN IT COMMANDER Children are able to play Plan-It Commander independently at home, in which they step into the shoes of a space explorer that is on a mission to save the world. The space explorer gets immediately immersed into a thrilling storyline in which he or she can earn different rewards. In the subgames that are placed within the overall storyline layers face several difficulties, matching the different elements of ADHD. In the ‘Space Club’ children are able to interact with other players. They can watch and rate each other's actions, are able to help others and ask for advice. The game is both appealing and accessible. This particularly applies to children with ADD, who get easily bored and encounter concentration problems.

The game impacted planning and organization behaviors in a randomized controlled trial.
