Ancient Sudoku is a simulation of the game of Sudoku. This version includes a standard puzzle in easy, medium, and hard, as well as a Master's Challenge which includes 10 puzzles of increasing difficulty. Finally, Puzzle Creator mode lets you manually enter puzzles, which can either be checked, solved, or completed manually. High scores are kept for each difficulty level, plus the Master's Challenge.

Puzzles can be displayed as numbers, letters, or shapes. Hints go from showing errors, to solving a space, to solving the entire puzzle. Also, puzzles can be printed out to solve on paper. [source:mobygames]
