Baldy's Big Day is a humorous RPG developed with RPG Maker 95. When Baldy woke up it seemed like this day would be like any other day in his life but when he exits his house he discovers that for some unknown reason his yard has become flooded. He now teams up with his dad (it's Colonel Dad for Baldy) and his wife Kathy to go on a quest to find out why his yard has become flooded.

Since the game is created with RPG Maker the gameplay strongly resembles that of console RPGs. The game features no random encounters, attacks of enemies may occur as a result of pressing a button, moving to the middle of a skeleton-littered room or by opening a chest. Since combat is uncommon in this game, the game mainly centers around exploration, and of course some quests of the type give X to Y. The game progress may only be saved at save points represented by a funny looking figure called Savo Pointo. [source:mobygames]
