Game Classification

Originally released as part of Zeebo Family Pack, Cannonball is an amusement park-like shooting gallery game, in which the player controls a cannon shooting ships at a fake sea. Players must tap the screen where they want the ball to be shot. The targets consist of clipper ships, floating bottles, seagulls, treasure chests, octopi, sea monsters, etc. Each target has a number on it, denoting how many points the player gets for hitting it. In front of the display there are several holes with bonus marks (1x, 2x, 3x and 5x); hitting a target when it is in front of one of those holes awards the bonus points shown. There is a bomb in the lower portion of the screen, with a burning fuse. The goal is to reach a certain amount of points at each level before the fuse burns out. Latter levels demand more points to be beaten.

Players can select an avatar when creating a profile. The game includes a global, cross platform high-score ranking that allows the player to share his/her top scores and compete for the highest score possible against other players. [source:mobygames]
