GW Parachute is a remake of one of the 1981 Wide Screen Game & Watch games that came on a single, LCD device.
Players control a character sitting in a boat on a river. The boat needs to be moved left or right to catch all the parachuters before they drop in the stream, where a shark awaits them. As in the original game, there is no fluent movement animation, but only a set amount of steps the character can take. The graphics have been updated with touches of colour. Each caught parachuter is awarded with one point and at 300 points a bonus is provided.
Movement is done by tilting the device left or right, tapping the desired location or pressing the left or right edge of the screen. As in the original game, there are two game modes with a different difficulty level. [source:mobygames]
