The History Channel - Civil War: The Battle of Bull Run - Take Command:1861 is a real time strategy wargame that takes place during the American Civil War. The game focuses on realism when it comes to the depiction of battle but doesn't limit itself to historically correct battles.

The game is presented completely in 3D and focuses on combat. It doesn't feature any base building or resource gathering. There are three game modes: "1st Bull Run" let's the player play the battle of Bull Run as various military leaders. The player can opt to control a brigade, division or the entire army. Each type of control brings different options and responsibilities. "Custom Scenario" allows the player to choose from a variety of custom scenarios. "Open Play" provides this as well but further allows the player to set his own parameters for play in the scenarios. [source:mobygames]
