Game Classification

A horrific monster beyond description emerges from the wilderness and lays waste to a small farming community. The player chooses one of three local residents to venture forth to the local metropolis and engage the services of one of three skilled adventurers to dispatch the disruptive depredations of the unwholesome beast. Can that feat be undertaken, all that remains is for the player to safely return to the farm and announce their success!

This game is a browser adaptation of a very short (40-section) amateur gamebook, originally circulated as a Microsoft Word document. Despite its humble origins, it nonetheless offers opportunities to replay its handful of challenges from six different perspectives, all slightly varied. [source:mobygames]
