Neuro Hunter is an action RPG set in a dark future where private corporations rule the world. The player is Hunter, an computer expert hired by one of these corporations to repair the network of a mining facility. After an explosion, he is trapped in an underground cave world, where a certain Hacker is in power.

The character development is divided into skills, which can be upgraded by adding 'neuroaxons' (level points). Most weapons and tools cannot be bought, but have to be put together from various parts, using found blueprints. [source:mobygames]
