This version of The Sims 2 is a downscaled game fit for cell phones. This version stays somewhat true to its big brother on the PC, while obviously limiting the amount of items and activities to work with the less powerful hardware.

The game lets the player pick a "Sim" out of a list of premade ones, both male and female. The game starts with the Sim living in a small already-made house. Through using objects around the house as well as talking to other Sims who visit the player the Sim's skills will increase. They include: cooking, charisma, body, logic and creativity. Higher skills means that the Sim can do things better and get better jobs down the line.

The Sim also has certain "wants" which the player needs to meet, such as buying a coffee maker or telling a dirty joke to another Sim. The more the Sim interacts with other Sims, the better friends they become. This can in the end lead to a relationship or even marriage with any of the 6 different computer controlled Sims.

The money the Sim makes can be used to buy things for the house (such as a flat screen TV or a bathtub). These will not only make the house look nicer, but when used they raise the different needs bars much quicker. For example, buying a stove will make it easier for the Sim to eat than if he only owned a microwave oven. There are also extra rooms for the house which can be purchased, adding new activities and features for the Sim to partake in. Also, a constant drain of money is that every meal of food eaten costs a small amount of money. [source:mobygames]
