NASCAR Arcade is an video arcade racing game that was released in 2000 and was produced by Sega-AM3 using the Sega Hikaru Board. The graphics run at a speed of 60 frames per second; giving players a very realistic sense of Winston Cup excitement. Automatic transmission is available but the game strongly recommends manual transmission for greater realism. There are five gears on the manual shift (1st gear, 2nd gear, 3rd gear, 4th gear, and neutral). Depending on the country that the arcade cabinet is located in, the speed will either be measured in kilometres per hour or miles per hour; this is set-up by the arcade operator upon calibration and cannot be altered by the player.
