Mightier Mightier is an indie puzzle game developed by Lucas Pope and Keiko Ishizaka from Ratloop where most of the game is spent away from the computer. The player needs to print the in-game puzzles and solve them with a marker on paper, and then import the solution in the game using a webcam or a scanner. It is however also possible to use the in-game interface to design a solution by drawing with the mouse.

An important Galactic cruiser has exploded on a planet and Datagon components are scattered on the surface. The player controls an Actionaut who needs to collect them to complete levels. The components are positioned on different heights and in order to reach them he needs help from Engineer 255, also controlled by the player, who operates from a command centre. The planet contains crystalline structures embedded in the surface. Heating these up, using a laser from the command centre, they rise up to a certain height determined by a number. By working together, both the Actionaut and Engineer 255 can collect everything and move on to a different part of the planet.

At the start of each level, the engineer uses the Schematix interface to view the location of the Datagon components and the crystalline structures. These can be printed out and players then draw loops around any items to create structures. When done, a design can be scanned or held in front of a webcam to import it to have the Actionaut try and complete the level.

Although simple at first, later levels introduce enemies that need to be avoided, oscillating crystals that move between two heights, and crystal where the potential height is relative to the surrounding area where its loop is enclosed in. Next to Datagon components there are also butterflies to collect. When progressing, the design lab opens up additional functionalities where players can create custom designs of the Actionaut character, his jetpack, flowers and more. [source:mobygames]
