Bumblepig is a top-down shooter with a twist. Instead of shooting down waves of oncoming enemies, Bumblepig pollinates flowers by picking up pollen balls of different colors (blue, yellow and red) and spraying them onto the different colored flowers on the ground. Every flower that gets pollinated drops money, which Bumblepig wants to collect in order to buy himself some new fancy hats! The more flowers are pollinated of the same color, the quicker the combo bar goes up, and the more money each flower will drop.

Aside from pollinating the flowers of the corresponding color to the pollen, it's also possible to color blend to make different combo streaks. For example, using blue pollen on a yellow flower will make a green flower. Using yellow pollen on a blue flower will also make a green flower, thus making the combination options much bigger. There are various enemies and obstacles in the game, but the only way to get past them is to avoid getting hit by them.

There are several stages to unlock as the game progresses and each stage has three levels which need to be beat by making enough money. There is also the possibility to switch between night and day. [source:mobygames]
