Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave Christmas Edition Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave Christmas Edition is a modified version of the original Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave with Christmas themes. From carols playing as background music to chickens wearing Santa hats modifications to the game have been made in music, story line and most obviously the graphics. Instead of dropping eggs on you the enemies drop Christmas Tree decorations. Instead of entering a meteor shower you are now bombarded with snowballs.

The game play has remained the same as the original version including the 110 levels of play. The three weapons remain mostly the same but with added colour changes. Their intensities are still up to eleven levels. The option of putting your high scores up to the table on the developer's website still stands. [source:mobygames]
