Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball The mobile version of Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball shows the players through a side-view. Your character can only move to the left, the right, and jump. With anime-styled graphics, you can practise in the training mode or take on a single opponent through nines levels with increasing difficulty in the arcade mode. All matches are played one-on-one. Only two buttons are used for moves. One makes your character dive to save a ball, while the other one is used for reception, smashes and serves.

Some additional strategy is added through a power meter. By standing still and anticipating the position of the incoming ball, you can build up a power meter to set up a smash. This can also be applied for powerful serves. Matches consist of two winning sets with eleven points each, and not all stages in the arcade mode are available right away, albeit looking identical. The menus' backgrounds are taken from the Xbox version of the game. [source:mobygames]
