Der zerstreute Pharao is the official PC translation of the eponymous board game. It is played on a 6x8 game board where twelve chips and 47 pyramids are randomly distributed on the board. There are also three piles of cards, where each treasure card corresponds with a chip.

When the first card of the first pile gets revealed the players need to find the treasure. Since there are 48 fields and 47 pyramids this means there is always one field left open. The acting player moves a pyramid and when he finds the treasure he grabs it. If the revealed field is free he tries again; when there is another treasure the turn ends. This goes on until all treasures are found. The second pile of cards contains action cards which give orders to the players. The player who finds a wrong treasure during the third pile is knocked out.

This game offers the usual improvements over the board game: enhanced graphics, multiplayer modes and AI opponents. [source:mobygames]
