Dōjin Kaizokuban D?jin Kaizokuban is an unofficial text-mode remake of Truxton. It includes many recognizable elements from the original game, including the three types of weapons, enemy patterns, and even the large bosses that can be destroyed piece-by-piece, all rendered in chunky blue-and-white text. Just as the original game, there are three weapon types, each of them upgradable, as well as screen-clearing bombs (which look like flashing skulls), and multiple stages each with a boss at the end. The game also features a bizarre running commentary on the side of the screen by a square-headed face. [source:mobygames]
