Half a year has passed since the events described in the previous game. A female Irish magician named Bazett Fraga McRemitz, a master in the 5th Holy Grail War, wakes up on the fourth day of said war with a new Servant, Avenger, with no recollection of what has happened before. After proceeding to participate in the battle, she and Shir? Emiya, the protagonist of the first game, discover that they are stuck in a four-day time loop, and decide to find out what is causing that.

Like the first game, Fate/hollow ataraxia is a visual novel. The interaction in the game is confined to occasional instances when the player has to make a choice during a narrative, determining its subsequent development and eventually the ending. The game features scenes with explicit sexual content. [source:mobygames]
