Game Classification

Flipside is a 2D side-scrolling racing game where the player controls a vehicle that can cling to walls, jump and spin into the air. The player races against three computer-controlled opponents on futuristic, industrial-themed tracks filled with obstacles, cogs, laser, bumpers, curves and balls. Collisions with opponents also need to be avoided as those slow the car down. By winning the race, another of the fifteen tracks in total is unlocked.

There is also a two-player mode with only two cars shown in a vertical split-screen. The game keeps track of high scores and offers an unlimited amount of tries per course. [source:mobygames]
