Game Classification

Mark and Mandi's Love Story is a spot-the-differences game, where most of the time the screen is split in two similar images and the player has to click on the differences. Each correct click adds points to the score, that can be used later to buy special items.

Each level has three games, a first one of the spot-the-differences kind along with two random ones. The other games are variations of classic puzzles, like concentration and jigsaw puzzles. A garden screen appears between levels, where creatures can be purchased with the accumulated points, as well as milestones that advance the plot of the game. The acquired creatures appear as hidden objects on the three games, and give extra points when collected.

A sequence of correct clicks, or "combo", gives extra points. Hints and wrong clicks cost 5 and 15 points, respectively. [source:mobygames]
