Mythic Pearls: The Legend of Tirnanog Mythic Pearls is a color-matching game like Zuma and similar titles, where the player must match three or more pearls of the same color. A crossbow cannon can be directed with the mouse to shoot pearls at a string of them. They slowly revolve around the screen towards a hole. If a number of pearls enter the hole, the player loses a life.

The pearl loaded on the cannon can be changed by right-clicking with the mouse. Coins and artifacts on the field can be collected to score more points and complete the levels faster. Some levels have hammers that can destroy pearls directly.

Some pearls activate special powers when matched. A freeze pearl stops the movement for a few seconds. Some pearls explode taking surrounding pearls with them. The reverse pearl rolls back the string, eliminating the first seven pearls. The fireball destroys anything in its path. The chroma pearl acts as a wildcard, and can be matched with any pearl.
