Popcorn! Popcorn is a game based on the 1978 arcade game Avalanche by Atari (which itself spawned the Atari 2600 hit, Kaboom). In this game, there are popcorn kernels in rows at the top of the screen, and you start with 6 levels of frying pans at the bottom. As the kernels start to fall, you have to catch them before they hit the conveyor belt at the very bottom of the screen. Each time a kernel makes it all the way to the bottom, you lose a frying pan, until you have none left. The higher the level you get into the game, the faster the popcorn falls, and more kernels will fall at once. [source:mobygames]
