Raycatcher Raycatcher is a fast puzzle game where a cluster of shapes, controlled by the player, needs to be rotated using the mouse to catch incoming rays of different colours, mainly yellow, red and blue. In order to light them, the colour of the ray needs to match the colour of the shape it hits. Gameplay is driven by the musical score the game syncs the rays with. It comes with a set of tracks by Noobie Noobinson, but playlists using mp3 or wma files from the hard drive can also be assembled.

The game has three difficulty levels and is split up in different evolutionary stages, each with sublevels where the cluster grows in size. Catching rays lights up parts of the awesomeness bar near the bottom of the screen. When rays are missed, it powers down, eventually ending the game. In later parts, rays appear simultaneously from different directions, follow an angled trajectory, only reveal their colour at the last instant, or split up into separate parts. Collecting sparkling rays fills up the ray power meter that opens up new abilities. When available, left clicking clears all rays on the screen and right clicking doubles all of them briefly. When a ray hits an incorrect part, it will be deactivated. [source:mobygames]
