In Red Skies: Von Stalingrad nach Berlin the player takes the role of Russian or German pilots during World War II. The game is clearly action oriented; the aircarfts are controlled with the keyboard keys and the mouse buttons are used to fire the machine gun or to drop bombs. The goals of the 40 missions which are divided into two campaigns are to kill other planes, destroy buildings or to escort friendly vehicles. During the missions the player uses various aircrafts, e.g. the MiG-3, Messerschmidt Bf 109 or Yak-9. After every solved mission the player gets points which he can use to improve his planes.
