Rise of Lost Empires Rise of Lost Empires is a real-time strategy game in a classic fantasy setting, with controls adapted to mobile ergonomic requirements.

Along a simple storyline involving the rebuilding of the Hell gate - which would allow the almost forgotten realm of Darkness to bring havoc to this world once again - the game offers two campaigns, each telling some chapters of the story from the perspective of one of the factions: the forces of Light (an assortment of elves, humans and dwarfs) and the Dark army (Orcs, Trolls and a few more surprises).

Aside from these mutual enemies, the game also features many types of creeps in each of the multiple scenario atmospheres: snowed mountains, scorched lands, the Elven lands, Hell itself, etc. Each faction can bring in up to four different heroes, each with different powers and skills that increase in number and power as the hero levels up.

Regular units must be commanded by any of these heroes: while they will defend themselves to death, they cannot be issued precise orders without linking them first to a hero. Regular units range from soldiers to catapults or Treemen, and their availability depends on the built facilities - which can only be built on smalls groups of preset foundations scattered over the map. Other buildings allow you to upgrade several aspects of your units or to resurrect your heroes. [source:mobygames]
