Space Paranoids Master Control Program: "I've got a little challenge for you, Sark - a new recruit. He's a tough case, but I want him treated in the usual manner. Train him for the games... let him hope for a while... and blow him away."Sark: "You've got it. I've been hopin' you'd send me somebody with a little bit of guts. What kind of program is he?"

Space Paranoids is a fan-made creation of a game seen briefly at Flynn's in the motion picture TRON. Unlike the Windows version, this game has better graphics, different levels, different goals and more enemies.

The object of the levels is to destroy all the enemies within. The enemies are recognizers, tanks and turrets. Recognizers require three shots to kill them. If they touch you, you lose a life. Tanks require two shots to kill. Tanks do not fire on you but if they touch you, you lose a life. Turrets require one shot to kill. Turrets do fire but do not move. One shot from a turret will kill. Your tank carries five shots. If you need to, there are yellow spots on the floor that reload you. These will reload you only so much then they run out.

You have four lives. If you lose all your lives, the game is over. If you restart the game, you will have the option of starting from the beginning or continuing at the last level you got to. [source:mobygames]
