Superior Save Amanda receives a voice-mail from her boss, saying that he's been kidnapped and needs help. She starts to investigate various places, trying to find him by tracing back his last steps.

Superior Save is a hidden object game with mini-games between chapters, where most of the time the objective is to find and click on all the items from a list at right side of the screen, on scenes filled with assorted paraphernalia. Some of the list items are written in green to indicate an extra step necessary to gain access to them, usually accomplished by dragging and dropping an object on top of the other. For example, a key can be used on a door to open it and reveal the required item. The plot is developed through cartoon cutscenes and dialog with some characters found on the locations.

The hint button at the top-right highlights the position of one of the list objects, but takes some time to recharge after use. The mini-games that appear between chapters are puzzles with mechanisms that have to be manipulated directly. In the first mini-game, a parking lot is viewed from above, and the goal is to clear the way for a red car by dragging the other vehicles around until none is blocking the exit path.
