Romancing SaGa Romancing SaGa (?????? ???, Romanshingu Sa Ga?) is a console role-playing game developed by Square (Squaresoft) (now Square Enix). The original Super Famicom version, released on January 28, 1992, and the WonderSwan Color port, released on December 20, 2001, were marketed exclusively in Japan. It is the first game in the SaGa series to be released for the Super Famicom and the fourth installment in that series. Square Enix announced a PlayStation 2 enhanced remake titled Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song (?????? ?? -?????????-, Romanshingu Sa Ga -Minsutoreru Songu-?) for both Japanese and North American localization. The Japanese version was released on April 21, 2005 and the North American version was released on October 11, 2005 and was simply known as Romancing SaGa, which was used to coincide with the Super Famicom's original title. At the 2009 Jump Fiesta in Tokyo, it was announced that the game would be brought to mobile phones. [source:wikipedia]
